The Conjurer versus Izuno Uchiha

[Sanshu Juro]

Sanshu walked forward on through the forest, slowly reaching his destination by foot. A small clearing opening up to a flowing river with a small patch of land on the other side, and several flat rock surfaces in the stream giving places to stand. Trees all around buzzed with life, insects and all the like. The dirt below him was brighter than usual, almost like sand.

Ahead, was his target. Izuno Uchiha. Sanshu's black hollow eyes stared forward, the Summoner's Seal hidden by the shadow covering his eye sockets. His cloak shifted in the wind that blew, the Summoner's Symbol on the back of the cloak. The clothing was open, revealing his short and pants worn underneath, along with his black sandals.

Staring forward at his enemy he would make the first move without hesitating.

Sanshu Juro "Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Ekisu no Shizen!"

Making the serpent hand seal, Sanshu said the name of the technique in a calm, emotionless tone. A huge chakra mass instantly flooded the centre of the opening between Sanshu and Izuno. The blue flames of chakra indicating the presence of the large chakra beast, being made purely of energy, all and any taijutsu or physical damage would not harm it. It could only be defeated with Ninjutsu.

The beast did not wait for a response from the enemy, instantly using two of its main abilities. First, it would attempt to trap Izuno with its Doro Kangoku, (Mud Prison), several tubes of mud shot up in all directions in an attempt to bind Izuno to the ground where he was standing. It was a techinque that would incapacitate the enemy if it made contact, spreading over the body and locking it in place.

As this was happening, the beast blew forward using its Kaen (Blaze) technique, spitting out waves of orange and yellow flame at Izuno. A large, horizontal wall of fire flying towards him. The dirt beneath the fire crystallized from the new intense heat, blowing forward at high speed. Sanshu continued to stare forward. This would be interesting.

[Izuno Uchiha]

Izuno walked onto the warm soil, exiting the dense forest behind him. The landscape was certainly something he wasn’t used to; there were no mountainous regions nearby, only forests. To his left was a large river. One of his first actions was observing the area carefully, looking for any future hiding spots. “Not exactly what I was looking for…But, it will do.”He looked directly in front of him, examining every detail on his opponent. “So the gales dance on his cloak….Heh, let’s be-“ Just before he could end his statement, Sanshu had utilized a hand seal, summoning forth a behemoth of a creature, something that was definitely going to be difficult to take down without any summoning to battle against it.

“You can’t be serious!” The beast had somehow caused pillars of mud to shoot out in every direction, mainly heading towards Izuno. “So he doesn’t hesitate to attack me….” Izuno quickly performed a set of hand seals as the pillars of mud traveled across the dirt, aiming for Izuno’s small body. “Goukakyuu no Jutsu!!” Inhaling deeply for a moment, Izuno had expelled a large volume of flames into the air. Expanding the size by adding more fire to the spherical shaped mass of fire in front of him, he released the Fireball, sending it straight towards the pillars of mud. The mere force of the flames managed to stop the mud in its tracks and form a small wall of the material that was sent at the Uchiha. But the mud wasn’t the only thing he had to worry about; there was the wave of blazing fire that was sent at him afterwards. No worries, the wall would stop the wave, or at least slow it down, giving Izuno enough time to change his position. As soon as the flames hit the soil created from extensive heating, Izuno jolted to the side, drawing his chained sickle while he moved. “I’m safe…Good thing that wall bought me some time, I would have been done for.” Out of harm’s way, Izuno had begun swinging his chained sickle, throwing it at the summoning.

The wave of fire smashed into the wall created by the mud, blasting through it, Izuno had dodged the attack. His sickle made contact with the large mass of chakra, which the chakra simply formed into a 'hand' and grabbed the sickle. Pulling with tremendous force, it attempted to rip it away and send it flying through the forest.

With this, the chakra mass blew forward once more making another giant wave of fire. It also extended a hand, using it's last abilltiy, Arashi (Storm), to send three quick bolts of lightning out towards Izuno behind the fireball. If he attempted to counter with another fireball, the bolts would go through them.

Sanshu was not going to wait for the summon he had created to die, again taking action. Sanshu made three hand signs, two spots of water swirling slightly in the river next to them as two water dragons shot out and arced around the fire, to hit Izuno from both sides.

Sanshu Juro "Suiton Tatsu no Jutsu!"

Sanshu wondered what he would do to escape these attacks.

A terrible mistake Izuno made by relying on Kenjutsu to inflict damage on a beast made of chakra. Not even having a chance to retract the sickle, it was forcefully pulled from him and thrown into the forest behind Sanshu. “There goes my sickle….” Again, the beast attacked, sending the same Katon based technique, a fire wave, and a Raiton technique, two bolts headed straight at Izuno. If these attacks successfully hit Izuno, the battle would surely be over. Sanshu also launched an attack of his own, utilizing a Suiton based ninjutsu technique. Two dragons made from the water of the river were directed towards the Uchiha, one heading towards one side, his left and right.

Luckily, Izuno was well prepared for this kind of situation. He quickly drew a shuriken and ducked down, throwing it off to the upper right. The shuriken traveled swiftly through the air, but at the same time, near the ground. The whole time, Izuno kept both eyes focused on the shuriken, with his attention on the dragons. “Kawarimi no Jutsu!” In seconds Izuno was gone, a small cloud of smoke left in his place with a small object inside, it was the shuriken that he had released! Izuno replaced himself with his own shuriken, reappearing outside the blazing path of the wave and the lightning bolts. Even the two dragons failed to hit him. With the combination of all the attacks, a large explosion had gone off, devastating the entire side of the battlefield. “Time to give him a challenge…” Izuno darted towards Sanshu, his eyes taking a different appearance, a crimson color, the sharingan with three tomoe. It was the infamous Doujutsu possessed by Uchiha clan members. Both eyes were concentrated on Sanshu, the slightest muscle movement would aid Izuno in plotting a quick counter attack. As he drew in closer, Izuno performed another set of hand seals. “Housenka no Jutsu!” He utilized another Katon technique; this time several fire balls were released, each and every one of them traveling straight at the beast, intended to distract the beast while Izuno closed in on Sanshu to engage in taijutsu.

The fireballs slammed directly into the Chakra Beast. It made a loud cry, the pure chakra turning into a large blaze and exploding. The smoke left behind a medium sized crater, next to the landscape that had been earlier ripped apart by the explosion.

Sanshu only moved his eyes to look at Izuno when he approached. He immediately threw two shuriken. One directly at Izuno, and one to his right towards the forest. The shuriken headed towards Izuno was meant as a distraction. As soon as the other shuriken reached the very start of the forest, Sanshu body flickered to the river, standing on the moving water.

Both of those moves were meant to distract and confuse. Izuno would have to dodge an incoming projectile, and his eyes would lead him to believe he moved to the location of the other shuriken as he did. But really, Sanshu was just standing to the side.

Performing several hand signs, three water clones rose from the water's surface. All exact replicas of Sanshu, with significant power. It would take a little effort to destroy them.

It was time for Sanshu to start manipulating the battlefield to his advantage. The three water clones drew Kunai and jumped upwards in the air to land and attack Izuno. While they did this in the air, Sanshu rose his palm, and simply said "Wave", a extremely fast, deadly jet of water shot from his palm to the area in front of Izuno.

Sanshu brought his arm in a horizontal line across the battlefield, the jet with enough power to rip the trees apart that it hit. Enough to cut into Izuno if the hit was a success, Sanshu stopped and began to fill all of the land with as much water as possible. He would turn the area into a lake. Since Izuno would be distracted, it would be even easier.

All three water clones landed around Izuno, two slashing and one going for a kick to the torso or head, whichever one came first.

[Izuno Uchiha]

“Hmph, so he attacks with projectiles eh?” Before the shuriken could hit Izuno, he quickly drew a kunai and placed it in front of himself, blocking the incoming projectile. With his eyes switching to the other shuriken that was thrown at the forest as a distraction, Izuno realized that Sanshu had disappeared from the battlegrounds. “A distraction….” Suddenly, Izuno caught onto the sound of water traveling against the soil, causing him to turn in the direction; just in time to get out of the way.

He quickly threw himself forward, rolling on the ground and evading the attack. The jet of water toppled some of the trees in its path, if this continued; the whole forest would be destroyed. “That was a close one….Now I just have to worry about these-“ Interrupted by the three clones sent to take on the Uchiha, Izuno had another enemy that he needed to handle.

Two clones both slashed at Izuno, and the other sending a kick to his head. With the sharingan activated, this wasn’t going to be a problem, and besides, they were water clones. He quickly threw the kunai he used previously to block the shuriken at one of the slashing clones, dispatching it, following up with a leg sweep kick, sent right at the other clone going for a slash. Because he ducked to perform the leg-sweep kick, he managed to avoid the kick aimed for his head. Two clones down, one to go. Due to the momentum, the clone could not stop in time to counter Izuno’s attack; a quick elbow at the back of the clone’s neck. All three of the water clones were neutralized, which left Sanshu. “Too easy…..”

With the clones being enough of a distraction, and giving Sanshu enough time, the craters and ripped up landscape were now filled completely with water. This gave Sanshu a good advantage over the battlefield, as he had ripped himself a small river open aswell connecting the two water sources.

Seeing now that he was the next target, he wasn't going to wait to make a move. It was time for another summoning so that he could continue his filling of the area. Slamming his palm on the ground, he said:

Sanshu Juro Kuchiyose no Jutsu : Haundo no Fukusei!"

With this, a two-headed hound was summoned. It's head shot off, and another body instantly formed to go and attack his Uchiha enemy. Now he had to deal with two agile, giant dogs with claws and teeth to kill him with. It wouldn't be as easy as the chakra beast, because now they were mobile, and could dodge more easily.

Sanshu then continued to fill the area with water, using his Water Wave Palm technique again to continue blasting water all over. It would soon be completely in his favor.

[Izuno Uchiha]

What had once been soil was now flowing water. It turned how that the whole ordeal with the clones was just a distraction as well. Sanshu was working on creating a new battle setting, one that gave him the advantage, seeing that he was a Suiton user. “What? When did he? Blast!” Izuno rested his eyes upon Sanshu, hating his battle tactics with a passion. Just to spice things up, Sanshu even summoned a large two-headed hound, which split itself into two bodies. “That’s some weird shit…How the hell am I supposed to fight two summons by myself?”

With the dogs running over to Izuno, preparing to rip him up like a little toy, and jets of water drowning the soil underneath, what was there to do? It was time to rely on his doujutsu; it was the only thing that could get him out of this situation. His eyes had connected with one of the hound’s, the three tomoe sharingan staring into the fierce eyes of the bloodthirsty summon. Between them two, time seemed to pause; Izuno had gained control of the beast using the abilities of the sharingan. It was the best thing to do to make the battle even. “Attack…”

Now under the Uchiha’s control, one of the hounds’s rammed into the other. Leaping at it and digging its massive sized teeth into the other’s neck; it was now a dog fight between two summons, one used against the owner.

Both of the hounds fought, clawing at each other and snapping at the necks. Izuno was nowhere to be found. Using Shunshin, he disappeared from his previous location, planning on attacking Sanshu, but from where? Why, from below!! Drawing his katana beneath Sanshu, Izuno emerged from beneath the flowing river and slashed at Sanshu’s waist.

The hound that had been controlled by Izuno's sharingan poofed away, being dismissed by Sanshu and ruining his plan. The other hound got up and looked around for the target.

Water now covered nearly the entire field, turning the area into a shallow lake, deep enough for relatively medium-sized fish to swim. This was good enough for Sanshu. Bubbles rose from the water. This alerted Sanshu of Izuno's location, and he jumped backwards as Izuno flew out of the water slashing his Katana. So he's looking for a taijutsu fight...

Sanshu placed his both of his palms on the surface of the water. A summoning seal appeared as the water below Izuno quickly churned and began spinning rapidly into a deep whirlpool. With him standing in the center, his feet would be dragged in.

Smoke rose from under the water and lifted off of the surface. Four dark shadows swam underneath the surface. This was his Hireken Guntai summoning, or the Finblade Army. Four sharks with steel blades protruding from all over their body, and several rows of steel blade teeth roamed the water waiting for Izuno to submerge.

They didn't even wait for that. All four of them attack. One came up directly below him, jaw open to take him in. Two jumped from the left and right side of him, one to fly by his back and one to fly by his torso to use the protruding blades to slice into him. And the final one flew up from behind him, jaw open to take a hunk out of his body.

Sanshu threw two kunai directly in front of him at Izuno's front, some would have to make a hit.

[Izuno Uchiha]

Such a disappointment, Izuno's attack had failed. The blade was a longshot from hitting Sanshu's waist. Sanshu percieved the attack, even when Izuno was attacking from below, but how? He looked at the water, noticing the bubbles on the surface. Water dripped from the tip of his hair, he was completely drenched for nothing. He gave Sanshu a cold stare, it was his fault that he was soaking wet, but that didn't matter. "I just noticed something....We didn't even introduce ourselves. Well, my name is-" Sanshu went straight to actions, slamming both palms on the surface of the water and alarming Izuno.

By the looks of it, Sanshu was using a water technique, without even using hand seals. It was too bad that they couldn't introduce themselves and relax for a while before staring again. Water beneath Izuno began churning, spinning slowly but speeding up as time passed, causing Izuno to lose his equilibrium for a moment. After regaining it, he quickly sought out the nearest tree whose trunk was above the surface of the water. Once finding it, he threw the katana that was still in his hand, sending it at the bark of the tree. He then bent his knees and pushed off the unleved surface of the water, launching himself into the air, performing a set of hand-seals at the same time.

"Kangekiha!!" Using the lightning element, Izuno channeled the lightning through his body and shot a bolt of electricity at the area in front of Sanshu. Izuno who was in mid-air, finally landed on the katana he had threw earlier. The blade was deeply embedded in the bark, supporting the boy's weight. He turned his attention to Sanshu, waiting for his reaction. "Two conductors in one area, perfect." Safe from the Hound, Sanshu, and the newly summoned Sharks, Izuno was relieved for now.

But there was no time to relax, he still needed to fight. He held a hand seal, summoning forth a lightning clone. The clone hung from a branch on the same tree, keeping it's eye on Sanshu. "We wait, I know he's going to get out of this somehow. We'll attack right after he gets out of this one ok."

[Sanshu Juro]

Sanshu eyed the Uchiha, who know thought he had the advantage over the field. Sanshu had a little surprise for him that he would never see coming. He acted as if he was summoning another animal, performing the serpent hand seal, but there was no poof. Four wall instantly shot up around the Uchiha, through the water, and ripping a tree in half which fell over the top. The roof started to close, it wouldn't be easy for the Uchiha to escape. But he would have to if he wanted to survive. There would be nothing to get away with after this. When that finished closing, if the Uchiha was still stuck inside, the spikes on all the wall would open, and flames would blow out, scorching his body to a fine charred lump of flesh. Then the building would implode on the Uchiha, impaling him from all sides for a brutal finish. But Sanshu had to wait and see if the new trap would work. If the Uchiha did escape, he performed a few hand seals, another ball of water forming. As soon as he saw him jump out, two water dragons would split apart and attack. Until then..Let's see if this is the end..

[Izuno Uchiha]

“Victory is mine…..” Standing on the blade of the Katana, Izuno rested his eyes on the lake in front of him, which was created by Sanshu himself through the use of Ninjutsu; he truly was relentless shinobi, still choosing to battle. From Izuno’s posted area, it looked like he was going to utilize another summoning technique, slamming his hands on the surface of the water. Bingo! Choosing to attack rather than leap away from the surface of the water, the lightning bolt hit the flowing river, sending a surge of electricity, enough to fry a human and shut down all systems in their body. Sanshu was fried, his mistake of staying there being the reason why. With the water and the metal sharks being two conductors of electricity, the attack was definitely going to be fatal.

The sound of water moving beneath Izuno alerted him, causing him to turn down. He still had the wall to deal with. Luckily, his clone was there. It immediately pushed off the branch and shoved Izuno out of the way, just in time to save him from his doom. Izuno fell of the tree, grabbing his Gunbai while doing so. Slightly before falling in, he sent a swing at the surface, sending a gust and using its force to push him back into the air, where he would propel himself using the fan to get to safety in the trees.

Izuno, Sanshu is standing on the rock surface platform I drew in the river..everything else is water, the rock surface is high enough to stand on. ¯_¯; He stopped standing on the waters surface as it continued to rise.

OOC: Nope....You were standing on the water.

As soon as the other shuriken reached the very start of the forest, Sanshu body flickered to the river, standing on the moving water.

This alerted Sanshu of Izuno's location, and he jumped backwards as Izuno flew out of the water slashing his Katana.

Never said I landed back on the water after you slashed at me, which was after the body flicker.
